Talabani to hand withdrawing trust letter to parliament
Baghdad- An opposition al-Iraqiya List parliament deputy said Iraqi president Jalal Talabani is due to deliver on Wednesday a letter to parliament which asks for withdrawing confidence from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

In an interview to Summeria News, Ahmad Masari said the Kurdistan Alliance, Sadr movement, and Islamic High Council are planned to convene in Talabani’s house in Sulaymaniyah on Wednesday to discuss Iraq’s political crisis and two Arbil and Najaf meetings which decided on a 15-day and a one-month deadlines to Maliki to make reforms in his policies or face a withdrawing trust vote “for monopolizing power in Baghdad and marginalizing the minorities.” 

No official statement or interviews have been released about the letter.

During a Monday evening meeting among the Kurdistan Alliance, al-Iraqiya List and Sadr Movement in Selahadin resort, Iraq’s political impasse was negotiated and Arbil and Najaf meetings demands and replacing Maliki were stressed to be implemented.

Meanwhile Talabani and Kurdistan Region’s president Massoud Barzani are due to meet in Sulaymaniyah on Wednesday and discuss Iraq’s latest developments.
