Kurdish villager finds 2200 year old coin
Garmiyan, Kurdistan Region- a villager from Garmiyan area found a silver coin dating back to at least 2,200 years ago, AK News reported.

The villager who was busy working on his farmland, found the silver coin when he was tilling his farm near a brook, said Mohammed Ali, press secretary for Garmiyan Archeological Directorate.  

The villager dedicated the coin which dates back to 213 B.C.

Last week also in Kalar, the center of Garmiyan area, an ancient tomb was found with a number of artifacts in it.
