Jalili and Ashton to continue nuclear talks
Istanbul- During a Tuesday Istanbul meeting between Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council All Bagheri and P5+1 deputy top negotiator Helga Schmidt , the two sides decided the meeting between Iran and P1+5 chief negotiators to be resumed.

The spokesman for EU foreign policy chief negotiator Cathrine Ashton said new rounds of talks between the Ashton and Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili is soon resumed. The spokesman, Michael Mann, further added it’s not still clear whether the talks would be a face-to-face one or through telephone.

Michael Mann confirmed that the talks had ended, but did not give details of the results.

"As foreseen in Moscow, the next step is that there will be a conversation between Mrs. Ashton and Mr. Jalili," Mann said.

The new rounds of talk between Islamic Republic of Iran and P1+5, consisting of Russia, America, England, China and Germany, restarts at a time that the western countries have put new sanctions on Tehran, a move that Iran says will succeed overcoming them and many criticize as deteriorating the negotiating process.

The Tuesday meeting was at the level of experts, something that was decided during Moscow June 17-18 meeting between Iran and P5+1.
