Maliki harshly lashes out at Sadr
Baghdad- Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki severely blamed Sadr Movement Leader Muqtada al-Sadr and downplayed Sadr’s statement about Iraq’s arms deal with Russia.

Calling the statement as contradictory “where the words do not match with the behavior,” Maliki Information Office said those who “fire the accusations should prove them legally or face consequences of their accusations.”

In a statement released on Saturday, Sadr leader accused Maliki for lack of clarity in Iraq arms deal with Russia and said “the purchase should be for Iraq not for others.”
