Military force; the main tension between Syria Kurdish parties
As tensions among Syria Kurdish parties grow, Naser Haji Mansour, a member of Democratic Movement announced military force is the main issue Syria Kurdish parties are at odds over.

Speaking with Kurdpress, Mansour said al-Party demands the establishment of a new Kurdish military force including members of Democratic Union Party (PYD), affiliated with Kurdistan workers’ Party (PKK) and al-Party, but PYD opposes the idea as it’s “the repetition of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) power hegemony” IN Kurdistan Region.

He further said al-Party does not have enough armed force but will provide force from Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Discussing the situation of Syria Kurds and meetings to end tensions, al-Party official Soud Malla told Kurdpress that they have not reached a clear agreement and hopes the meetings will end in a good result.

Also speaking with Kurdpress, the member of Syria Kurds Union Council Faysal Yusuf said the parties of al-Party and PYD have not reach an agreement yet but are continuing the meetings.
