Two killed as explosion hits Afrin

Two people were killed and four others were wounded when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) went off in Kafar Jannah village in Afrin on Tuesday, June 15.

The area is occupied by the Turkish military and its Syrian rebel allies, NRT reported.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that one of victims was driving the vehicle and the other was at the scene.
Earlier, the monitor said that the identity or affiliation of the first victim is not known.
