The PUK eagerly awaits all-out cooperation aiming to reinforce brotherly relations between Iraqi Kurdish people and Iranians, the message reads.

It added, the region is dire need of your wisdom in line with establishing language of negotiations and reinforcing peace and security, IRNA said in a report.

The PUK wishes progress for people of Iran, it noted.

Earlier, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani telephoned Iran’s President-elect Ebrahim Raisi to congratulate him on his victory.

Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi was announced on Saturday as the winner of the June 18 presidential election in Iran, scoring 17,926,345 of votes.
