Iraq is an independent country, no one is allowed to violate its sovereignty: Ammar Hakim

The leader of the Iraqi Patriotic Coalition, Ammar al-Hakim stressed that his country is an independent state and no one can violate its sovereignty, adding that efforts to confront Iraq with the action taken will fail and Iraqis won't allow its sovereignty to be violated and invaded.

According to Nas News, Ammar Hakim wrote in a message on his personal Twitter page that: "Peace in the region and the world will be achieved through interaction between countries based on international treaties and cooperation according to mutual relations and joint cooperation in preserving the sovereignty of the region and Iraq."

Ammar Hakim added: "Any attempt to impose the policy of 'facing the action taken' is doomed to fail."

The leader of the Iraqi Patriotic Coalition emphasized: "We call on the neighboring countries in the region to interact with Iraq as an independent state with preserving its full sovereignty and not to allow any violation of sovereignty or invasion of the country's territory."
