Iran deputy FM, AKP deputy head hold talks in Ankara

Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs Ali Bagheri Kani held talks with Numan Kurtulmus, deputy chairman of Justice and Development Party, at the headquarters of the party on Thursday in Ankara.

Bagheri Kani arrived in Ankara, Turkey, on Thursday night to hold talks with members of the Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group.

In the meeting with Kurtulmus, which was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two sides discussed mutual relationship, Mehr New Agency reported.

In the meeting, the two sides exchanges views on political, cultural and economic ties between Turkey and Iran as well as regional cooperation on issues such as security in Afghanistan.

The Iranian deputy FM plans to meet with Sedat Onal, deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey, at the Turkish Foreign Ministry in Ankara.
