Joe Biden won't stay silent over possible Turkey attack on Syrian Kurds: analyst

A Middle East analyst at Oxford University believes that if Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attacks the Syrian Kurds again, Biden's verbal support for the Kurds will become a reality.

Dr. Samuel Ramani did not rule out the possibility of another Turkish-style offensive against the Syrian Kurds in the midst of a transition of power in the United States.

However, he told Arab News that Biden's government would not remain silent over a possible Turkish invasion of Syrian Kurdish-controlled areas, and that Biden's verbal support for the Kurds might be put into practice.

British-based analyst Bill Park also believes that the West is tired of Erdogan and the improvement of Turkey's relations with Europe and the United States is unlikely.
