The spokesperson Nihad Mohammed told NRT that the attack was on one of the Iraqi army divisions in Uzem sub-district and ten others were wounded in the attack.
Mohammed also said that the ISIS militants took advantage of the foggy and cold weather to attack.
"More Iraqi army soldiers have arrived at the area and are now searching for the escaped ISIS militants,” he said.
