A delegation from the People's Democratic Party (HDP) consisting of Imam Tascir (Diyarbakir) and Hossein Qacmez, a representative of Sirnak, met with various parties and organizations in the Kurdistan Region to build solidarity about the Kurdish new year celebration of Nowruz.

According to Rojnews, members of the delegation visited the political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Sulaimani on Thursday. Members of the HDP delegation were welcomed by Soran Jamal Taher, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, Salar Sarhad, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, and Khalid Abdul, a member of the Kurdistan Political Relations Office.

After the meeting, Jamal Taher announced on his account that he met with HDP members. The current situation in Kurdistan and Iraq, the steps taken to form a new government in Iraq and the Iraqi presidential election were also discussed."
