Independent Iraqi parliament members to join tripartite coalition: KDP MP

A representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Kdp) in the Iraqi parliament announced the party's decision to present a plan to end political disputes in the country.

According to Nas News Agency, Sharif Suleiman said in a press interview that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is going to present a plan to get out of the current stalemate in Iraq and it will address all political movements to end political disputes if a majority government is to be formed.

"There is now an understanding and agreement between the independent members of the Iraqi parliament to join the tripartite coalition," he said.

Suleiman stressed: "The plans and initiatives that are to be presented at this stage should be studied and lead to a way out of the current crisis and political stalemate in Iraq."
