PUK says Erdogan is seeing to revive Ottoman Empire plan by speaking out on aggression
Commenting on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's remarks regarding the continuation of the Turkish military operations in Iraq and Syria, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said: "Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to restore the trust of his supporters and the Turkish people in the Justice and Development Party (AKP)."

Speaking to the Baghdad Al-Youm news agency, Ghazi Kakayee added: "Erdogan is trying to revive the Ottoman Empire's plan by invading Turkey's neighboring countries, but the revival of this plan should not end at the expense of Iraq and the region."

Kakayee called on the Iraqi government to be vigilant against the conspiracies of Turkey and its president and try to find a quick solution to eliminate this danger, "because Baghdad has many options to prevent this Turkish aggression."
