Current situation in Iraq is a matter of deep concern: president
Iraqi President Barham Salih stressed at the graduation ceremony of the students of Sulaimani University that the current situation and the current conflicts in Iraq are of deep concern to the majority of movements and people in the country.

Salih attended the 11th graduation ceremony of 148 male and 112 female students at the American University of Sulaymaniyah, which was attended by Kurdistan Regional Government President Nechirvan Barzani and US Consul General in Erbil Robert Paladino.
He also appreciated the support of Nechirvan Barzani regarding the continuation of the university's activities.
Referring to the aids of the late Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Secretary General Jalal Talabani, he said that the American University is an important educational and scientific center in Iraq. Regarding the situation in Iraq, Barham Salih said that the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the existing conflicts are of concern to the majority of movements and citizens, but Iraq can overcome these problems with the efforts of compassionate and patriotic youth and citizens.
