Sheikh Jangi stated about the rulings of the Iraqi Federal Court regarding the Kurdistan Region's oil that "we called for the rulings to be fair and based on the interests of the citizens."
The former co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan concluded: "We also called for a joint effort by the Iraqi central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to reach an understanding through genuine dialogue aimed at resolving problems, because if the rulings are implemented unilaterally, the problems will become more complicated and there will be more security, political and economic tensions.
