US denounces missile attacks on Khor Mor gas field
The US Department of State condemned the recent missile attacks on Khor Mor gas field in Kurdistan Region in a statement on Sunday, June 26.

State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said the attacks were "designed to undermine economic stability” and cause division.
Price called for an investigation, as well as the prosecution of those responsible.
"We continue to stand with the Iraqi people, including our partners in the Kurdistan Region, against this kind of unacceptable violence,” Price said.
More than five Katyusha rockets were fired at Khor Mor gas field in Sulaimani’s Chamchamal district on Friday in two attacks and Dana Gas was hit in an earlier attack on Thursday when two people were wounded, the company said. The gas field came under renewed rocket attack on Saturday.
The Ministry of Natural resources said on Saturday there was no material damage due to the attacks and no loss of life.
