The Shiite Coordination Framework which represents all of the Iraqi Shiite blocs except for cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his party, in a press conference in Baghdad strongly condemned Turkey’s deadly bombing of Parakh village.
It demanded Iraq’s government fulfill its duty and constitutional obligations for defending the country’s borders, and secure sovereignty as well as people’s security, according to a statement the coordination read amid the news conference.
The Coordination has also requested the government to move towards International, Arabic, and Islamic centers to carry out Arab League extraordinary meetings along with United Nations Security Council.
It further added that the Iraqi government shall use all political, security, and economic potentials to terminate Turkey’s violations, and secure international merits of water that Turkey always manipulates.
An inclusive wide reaction emerged inside Iraq’s political Party since Turkey’s deadly bombing of Parakh village in Zakho district, northwest of the Kurdistan Region on Wednesday.
The bombing targeted a touristic site in a resort, and ended up with the killing and injuring of 34 Arab holidayers.
