Nechivan Barzani is seeking to end current Iraq's political crisis during Baghdad visit: MP

A Yazidi representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Iraqi Parliament said the purpose of the Kurdistan Regional President's trip to Baghdad is to end the current political crisis in this country.

Mahma Xelil said in a interview with Al-Ma'lumeh News Agency: Nichirvan Barzani, the Kurdistan Region President, will visit Baghdad in the framework of the initiative of Massoud Barzani, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to end the political deadlock and bring closer the views of the political parties in Iraq."
Stating that the President of the Kurdistan Region is carrying Masoud Barzani's action initiative to Baghdad to get the country out of the current political crisis, Xelil added: the political process of Iraq requires the return of the main and essential elements to the political arena, who will be responsible for the formation of the future government.
The KDP MP noted that Iraq is now facing a major crisis that requires urgent talks between political parties to end differences and create unity on constitutional rights.
