Kurdistan Region negotiating delegation will return to Baghdad today

A delegation from the Kurdistan Region will travel to Baghdad today, February 7, to continue talks with Iraqi central government officials over oil and the region's share of the 2021 budget.

According to SNN news site reported that a delegation from the Kurdistan Region, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Ghobad Talabani, will travel to Baghdad, Sunday, to continue talks with the central government and the Iraqi parliament on oil and the region's share of the 2021 budget.
According to reports, if the delegation reaches an agreement with Iraqi officials, the Iraqi parliament will vote on the budget bill on Monday.
Earlier, Bashir Haddad, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, announced that talks between Erbil and Baghdad on the budget were ongoing and that the budget deal had been postponed due to disagreements between the two sides.
