Ministry says Iraq is Turkey's top export destination over past three months

Iraq is Turkey’s top export destination over the past three months, receiving $1.875 billion worth of goods, Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday, April 5.

According to the ministry, Turkey exported a total of $50 billion worth of goods during that period. Of that, $4.33 billion went to neighboring countries, including Iraq.

The largest category of exports was chemical products, accounting for $743.9 million in trade, followed by crops, beans and oil products with $552.8 million, and carpets, paper, and forest products with $537.6 million.
