Archaeologists have uncovered an ancient city dating back to the Mittani Empire around 3,400 years ago in the Tigris River in Duhok province, Kurdistan Region.
A Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) military wing denied on Thursday, August 19, it had planted mines on roads against the Peshmerga forces, accusing the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) of doing so.
