According to Middle East News, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi emphasized that the victory commanders over ISIS were role models for all soldiers who fought ISIS terrorism.

In a message on the occasion of the second martyrdom anniversary of Iranian Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Hashd al-Shaabi Commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, recited by the Iraqi Interior Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi said that the crime of assassinating the victorious commanders over ISIS will always be a living history and lead those who seeks freedom and peace.

He said that these commanders were role models for every single soldier who fought against ISIS terrorism, adding that we experienced difficult times in which the martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandis inspired the spirit of martyrdom.

Kadhimi, also the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, hailed the memory of the martyrs and stressed that their path to victory over terrorism will continued.
