In an interview with the Iraqi National News Agency (Nina), Adnan Al-Siraj said: "The Coordination Framework is trying to put pressure on Sadr Movement to form the largest coalition in terms of numbers and get out of the current political stalemate."

Al-Siraj added: "Serious efforts are now underway to bring the Kurds to the negotiating table, and it is possible that after the consensus between Shiites and Sunnis, an agreement will be reached between the Kurds to nominate a candidate to run for the Iraqi presidency or allow the House of Representatives to select one for the position."
