Politician warns Kurdistan region is on the verge of a great catastrophe
An independent Kurdish politician said that the Kurdistan Region is on the verge of a major catastrophe due to the corruption of its ruling parties.

According to the Iraqi Al-Ittijah TV channel, Latif al-Sheikh told a press conference that: "The Kurdistan Regional Government and the corrupt parties ruling the region will be responsible for this great tragedy." Al-Sheikh added: "Erbil has enough financial liquidity to support and reduce fuel prices, because continuing to increase fuel prices will be a great disaster and will affect the situation of the citizens of the Kurdistan Region."
