Last Saturday, Americans moved dozens of trucks carrying military equipment and construction materials from the Al-Waleed border crossing in Iraq, east of Qamishli, to the village of Ain al-Diwar.

The sources stressed that the US military had told the villagers that their goal was to prevent any attack on the area.
