Japanese scholar terms Gen. Soleimani as great champion of history

A Japanese Islamologist described martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani as great champion of the history.

Addressing a ceremony organized by Iran cultural attaché office in Japan to commemorate the second anniversary of General Soleimani martyrdom, Shaykh Ibrahim Sawada said that martyr Soleimani had supported people of Syria and Iraq against ISIS and other terrorists' cruelty and horrendous crimes.
Iran has always supported the oppressed Palestinians, he added.
He reminded the great funeral procession of martyr Soleimani in Iran and Iraq, saying he was the champion of the history.
US terrorists assassinated General Soleimani, the commander of the Qods Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), along with their companions by targeting their vehicles outside Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020, at the direct order from then US President Donald Trump.
